Azim Nakhooda is the Chief Investment Officer and a Principal of Cedar Brook Financial Partners. In this role, Mr. Nakhooda manages the relationships between the advisors at Cedar Brook and their partner asset management, private equity and hedge fund firms. He also serves as a consultant to the firm’s Associates, advising on matters that include case design, portfolio analysis and market strategy. Additionally, Mr. Nakhooda is responsible for developing client relationships and designing and implementing elements of investment strategy for affluent investors, business owners and corporate executives. He is a Registered Representative with Securities America Inc. and an Investment Advisors Representative with Securities America Advisors.

Prior to joining Cedar Brook Financial Partners, Mr. Nakhooda served as Director of Investments for Cleveland Financial Group. There, he managed investment processes for a $1 billion private client group. Mr. Nakhooda also has worked for Fidelity Investments in Boston, Mass., specializing in philanthropic portfolio management.

Mr. Nakhooda received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Boston College and a Masters of Business Administration degree from Case Western Reserve University. He is a member of the Association for Corporate Growth, he authors an “Ask The Expert” column for The Plain Dealer in Cleveland, Ohio, and he is a periodic contributor to several national and local financial journals. Mr. Nakhooda also volunteers his time with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Cleveland.

Mr. Nakhooda lives in Chagrin Falls, Ohio with his wife, Caren, and their three children, Colleen, Casey and Duncan. Witnessing a Cleveland sports championship remains his unfulfilled life-long dream.
